Default Pop up ads on Android TV and Android Boxes

    Well, I've finally done it.
After years with Android and hassle free usage, I finally installed 2 Apps from an unsafe source, APK TIME... And now get random full screen ads poping up.
This is when I'm not even using the aforementioned apps.... Just during normal DVB-T broadcasts....

My next move will be to delete the apps

But can anyone recommend or suggest a way to find and stop the offending script that is running?

My fear is that after the apps are removed, the pop ups will still continue.

    Any ideas?
It's an older version of Android, 4.4.2.

    Thanks

    Update:

    AIO couldn't find anything wrong
    (Waste of time)

    Uninstalled the 2 apps
Android box back to working swiftly with no ads on home screen or when watching TV

Shame the apps showed all Fox Sports channels in HD, better than normal FTA.

I highly recommend Blokada. It's open source and doesn't require root. Works on Android devices like Shield etc.

I use this on each device in conjunction with a pihole on the home network and rarely see an ad unless it's embedded to the network eg Instagram.
