At least 22 dead so far........................

The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

I used to look at the middle east and their vest wearing bombers and think we live in such a more civilised society......

If a few ppl in the store were carrying a gun the toll would have been far less

Gun stores will be doing a brisk trade next week whilst the hand wringers demand that the only ppl with guns are the police.................and crims

Rather ironic. I also think Texas is one of the few states where you can legally carry a hand gun.

The US is such a screwed society on so many levels it's completely Atypical of just about anywhere in the world. This problem will never go away for them now no matter what they do.
Of course the dogooder leftie whiners will do the usual song and dance about guns and the par for the course Ignorance about " assault weapons" which is about as relevant as blaming alcohol for Drink Driving deaths or excusing criminal Behaviour because of Drugs.

It's the PERSON that is responsible and blaming anything else is just whitewashing and perpetuating the problem.

I put a lot of the blame for the way people are these days on the leftist Snow flake mentality that makes personal responsibility someone else's fault and letting wackos like those Antifa clowns get away with the shit they cause. The pathetic and guilty have an excuse for everything these days and a bunch of sympathetic snivelling cowards to tell them their wrong doings are all right and it's not their fault. What society in general needs these days is a big spoonful of concrete so they can harden the fuk up and the wold not keep turning to shit like it is with this softly softly mentality. It's clearly NOT working.

There were a lot more guns around 50 years ago and this didn't happen like it does now so clearly the problem is a lot more deep seated than the tools these deranged headfks are using.

Or perhaps greater... people with guns in the store see other people in the store with a gun and shoot them.

I have personally not seen any reports of incidences of that. I'm sure it's happened on an occasion but it's not been a significant problem.
It would be pretty easy to see someone hiding behind something with a gun and looking and seeing they weren't shooting but hearing shots and people running from somewhere else.

I admit there is a risk with more guns being carried by people but the thing is, which roll of the dice you want to take?
Being shot by some deranged lunatic when everyone is completely helpless or having some way to fight back and protect yourself?

There are no guarantees but I know which way I'd prefer to stack my chances that's for sure!

    ^ Exactly

Every time there's a multiple shooting the msm outrage machine has a field day, local and international 'news' actually have something current to report on instead of the usual indoctrination

Why don't they (msm) apply the same outrage when scores of black ppl in Detroit, Baltimore or any other black majority city are shot and wounded/killed nearly every 'kin day ????

It's sad but, it's so common over there.

    This may lighten the mood.

    Precisely.
Gives the lefties something more to whinge and sook about stretching the whole issue to irrelevant and useless discussions instead of asking the hard questions as to why a society has got to this in the first place?

I saw comments last night blaming trump for these shootings and counting haw many had happened since he was president. Someone tell me WTF he was supposed to do to stop this? It's this sort of BS that distracts from the real issue of why people are doing it in the first place?

As usual it will be all about guns completely overlooking the atrocities that have been committed in recent times with knives, cars, trucks and home made devices. Funny that none of them have been called to be banned. At least the reason behind the killings by those whom use these things as a trade mark is clear even if some want to deny it, unlike the reason these mass murders keep occurring. They talk endless shit about the tools used rather than asking the hard questions how so many people in that society got so fked up that they would contemplate committing these atrocities in the first place.

Pretty sure the answer to the real question would be a whole lot of things the gubbermint and Big biz especially don't want to hear.

I personally think there should be more HIGHLY trained armed people ( not the normal fat morons with IQ's of 32 that call themselves " security gaurds) at all major attractions and places where people gather. If some fruitloop goes nuts there is no other way to stop them other than with the same deadly force. Regular cops here won't go near anything they think is too dangerous so relying on them, when ever they show up is useless for the Public.

For the US there is no solution. There is no possible way to miracle away all guns and the only people that are going to give them in are not the people you don't want to have them in the first place. Even taking away guns is no solution when we again look at what people can to with cars and knives not to mention home made bombs. Where there is a will there is a way but why do s0o many people have the will to kill others they don't know or have done nothing to them?

The only way to slow this down ( because the US is too far gone to ever stop it) is ask the hard questions of what in the hell is driving so many people to loose their minds like this?
Only an idiot would suggest laws would have any impact when these people are either prepared/ planning to kill themselves or spend the rest of their worthless days locked up.

The problem with that piece is that although offered as satire, it is 110% accurate and in no way a stretch of facts or embellishment of any kind.
Fill in the blanks and you get a completely accurate and factual news story that can be applied to anyone of these atrocities.

No need to carry any guns into a store, doesn't Walmart sell them?

They can grab a couple off the shelf and some ammo, say later: "wanted to try before the buy".

As long as US Americans insist on their second amendment bullshit, I have no empathy, they just get what they asked for.
They live in the greatest country on Earth with the most privately owned weapons and the greatest President they ever had, who tells them he made it even greater with his racist shit and those NUT CASES believe his every word and can act upon it.

At last!!!! They've invented a machine that will enable legislators to solve this issue....finally...

Therein lies the issue. they do not have enough highly trained individuals who could be relied upon. Maybe Donny could declare martial law.

The idea might be to start training more people to do the job.
The problem didn't happen over night and neither will some sort of remedy. Working out WHY this is happening in the first place will be the real key to rectifying the problem and a lot more as side benefits I'd say.
