    Relief is here.

    In passed 6 months most sits which had further upgrade carried out on their nearest Telco tower have suffered a major setback having already upgraded to a 5G filter LNB, 18 to 12 months ago and in last 6 months dropouts, pixilation have returned.

    Not to mention the aerated customers.. all beyond our control.

    I can report that recently progress has been made with new LNB’s and the results are quite good. The downside is the LNB bandwidth has been narrowed. TP’s below 3800MHz and above 4150MHz can not be received. Since most sits are viewing the Asiasat 5, RAI, RTP and TVE. These are all good. My site has a tower 100m away.

    Using an old Satlook analogue meter. The first is Satking with the 5G filter.

    Mediastar with filter blocking all signal below 3830MHz and 2nd filter blocking 4150MHz and above… The 5G intense interference harmonics effecting from the high end as well.

    B52 I was having terrible 5G interfearence over the past 12 months here in SE Melbourne. Almost everything was effected(I don't have any tools to measure but I can see the quality fluctuation so I presumed it was 5G caused).
    I tried the Mediastar SG5150 3.7-4.2Ghz 5G filter LNB but it didn't make any difference for me.

    Due to your post I bought the Satking 3108 3.8-4.2Ghz and its improved greatly. Though I have lost the entire 3.7Ghz spectrum (and the 3.4-3.7 when I used to use a non 5g filtered LNBF).
    I also bought the updated Mediastar A381 that has a range of 3.8-4.1Ghz but since I am getting good reception I think I will stay with the Satking 3108 for now.

    Backer, I got same problem here in Western Suburbs, I was getting interference in 2016, on Measat 3 and Telstar 18 and Intelsat 19. I bought the Mediastar 5G back then it fix the problem momentarily.Last year it got worse,I bought a Filter from AV-Comm in Sydney for $750 late last year .It's now working well even when the plane passes it does not interfer with the signal.I found out there was only Telstra 5G back then that was beaming in my area , Now i found there are 3 providers beaming 5G in my area,Telstra,Vodaphone and TPG.. to make matter worse the built a 5G tower behind the shopping centre about 700 metres from my satellite dish..

    But wouldn't the Mediastar A 381 be better being PLL it is more stable. The satkig is DRO

    A381 is narrow band. Signals below 3800 and above 4150MHz are blocked, the closest you can get to defeat the 5G without breaking the bank. 80% success for Asiasat 5 Italian and Portuguese audience on 3860Mhz. For Spanish 3840Mhz being 5/6 FEC require 2dB more gain meaning a bigger dish..
