A sign of the times, I hear Mediastar in Sydney are about to send 100 2.4 and 2.1 meter dishes, new in the box to the metal recyclers,
I hadn't actually considered selling it, but you sounded desperate when you mentioned the extortionist prices of 3M dishes these days. It has probably been sitting under the back deck for 10 years. But it was in excellent condition when I took it down. There were a whole heap of pictures of it and adapting the H-H to fit it on the old Vetrun satellite forum. I could put it back up I have plenty of room. Just most stuff watch here these days comes through the internet. I do have an old 2.4m SDT special green mesh dish made in Tasmania (company long since gone bust) that looks like a military dish (has the LNB on a single central arm) still up and running.

Hualin in Sydney are also going to have to send their current stock of Supernet boxes to the recyclers as well. They only do H.264 and the channels on Eutelsat 172B as all going H.265
Due to the sad state of satellite these days Hualin is now getting into CCTV and ditching a lot of their satellite stuff. Lots of dusty C-band dishes there too.

Yeah, I picked a few 2.3's and 2.4 n nature strip here in Melbourne, not many people nowdays wants them, I even had a friend tossed his 3.8 m..a friend who owns a satellite shop even tossed 4 of his Mesh dish before he closed his shop..Everything is going streaming.Heck I knew a guy 25 years ago mentioned everything will be online on the net..
I wish I had my 3.7M Paraclipse mesh dish but sold it when I left the bush due to sickness as it would be a good dish again for Asiasat 5 with its feeds. My 2.3 is to small, gets around 40% of the Feeds now. who knows Asiasat 5 is due to be replaced, is over its time up there.
