Probably only a matter of time when it will be installed in all new vehicles, with a little carpet that rolls out and engine can only be started after the prayer has finished playing.

Is it not bigoted and "non inclusive" or what ever the PC lefty term is NOT to include Prayers from other religions as well?

While I don't believe, Had I known the stereo had a built in prayer, I sure would have used that feature each and every time I took my daughter for a driving lesson... Could have used all the help/ luck I could get with that!
May not be a bad thing the way the Mrs drives quite often as well.

You can bet your arse if there was a Christian, Jewish, Hindu or Buddist prayer in the thing but no islumic acknowledgement, They would be scream their beards off and be threatening to blow up the factory and behead the workers.

and "Rivonia Carsound"....located in Johannesburg:

So, it's looking very much like this is a unit aimed at a specific market.

Be interesting to know how it got all the way out to Oz........or do Kenwood know something that we don't.

As an atheist I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to praying, but I did think it was meant to be sincere and come from the person praying. So apparently just playing a recording of a prayer counts? That's handy.

In that case I've got an idea for lazy Christians. A dashcam that uses AI to detect when you are just about to have an accident, then it recites the Lord's prayer at x100 speed. Should sell.

I can't believe i've been so stupid.... of course they have the prayer in the Kenwood unit.
