Default Gold Coast wants to watch your every move

I do realise that Banks and Telcos already have this info
And that Google probably has far worse.... But an interesting move by a council all the same.

Just wait till they all catch on

If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!

    F*CK that...........................
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

the mayor is a fool , that council are experts on stopping people
heading there. When they had the com games they said not to head in
because its going to be so busy --- well fook me it was dead and they
were screaming for people to head in and it was so bad they are
being sued by the business owners because of loss of trade etc.

China's social credit system ASAP to be implemented in Australia.

Well other Australian cities and towns will follow, obviously.
Turnbull's super fast facial recognition system with the driver license database should be up and running by now, anonymous my arse.
Yeah and they are tracking our credit card payments, how anonymous is that?!
"Your data is safe with us", what a load of crock, since when has the government and all the third parties involved kept any data safe from hackers?

Cash is being banned now too in case nobody noticed, first 10K limit but 1k will surely follow shortly. Yeah I know we are copying Europe.
So we are all terrorists and the cash fraud is ruining our economy.
Funny that in the past centuries cash never harmed the economy.
...but being forced to keep cash on banks will ruin our balances when they start running negative interest rates.

Wonder when they will ban Gold too.

Oh what a bloody Brave New World* we are asking for, everybody happily giving all their privacy away:
"OH I have nothing to hide, only criminals do"
Bloody idiots you lot, who have no clue where this is going.

I just got a warning email from the high school of my son.
Over 60 kids in his year 7 have been negatively impacted with nasty defaming and harmful comments from their Snapchat shit.
The Police have stepped in and parents are asked to ban Snapchat from their kids devices. So what they will just use another social media.

Although it is their own fault that other people can use their private information to put them down, I blame today's general attitude that privacy is seen as a crime because of this 'I have nothing to hide' shit.

Needless to say that my son has a social media blanket ban, that he has not managed to penetrate yet, just checked again after I got the email.

    * Footnote: I wouldn't be surprised if our Department of Education removed that very important book from the curriculum because it is not politically correct.

Question is, can you avoid it by switching off your phone and only paying case or wearing Sunnies and a wide brimmed hat?

Maybe a Burka and Sunnies might work?

Always amazed when I go to the Goldie. Despite it being a bastion for everything they are supposedly against, the faithful of the religion of fun and good times are always there in droves.
I took a Vid last year of a Meter maid wearing the traditional nothing being followed By a fun loving family walking round in a letterbox and their Pyjamas.
Talk about a conflict of cultures!
Why they are in the capitol of Booze, sex, Bikinis, gambling and general debauchery when they are supposedly so much against all that?

Maybe they are tracking the people that are so out of place rather than just tourists in General? If the fun lovers were looking for a place to make a point or protest, I'd suggest that would be the place that would be most against what they preach.

I've been guilty of visiting Goldie a few times over the years, maybe that's 'cause my daughter and family were living there at the time. Now they're in Brisvegas it's unlikely that I shall return, unless I'm ctching up wioth friends who also live there.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
