Default Crow Runner 8/16 help-how to clean system tamper

    Hi,

My home security system is Crow runner 8/16.

My room mate input 4 times wrong password, so i turn off the power and took out the back-up battery.

After that, I put the right pin it looks right.
But when i try to alarm system which keep show about trouble of SYSTEM TAMPER.

Does someone know how to clean system tamper??
    Thanks in advance.

Maybe check that the alarm box cover is back on properly.

    Hi Mate,
As Secure said, check the box tamper is in correctly, the switch has to sit all the way back in the housing so it's hard up agains the back wall. Then the cover needs to close the leaf of the switch. Sometimes the battery will not let you close the cover properly so pull the left hand side of the battery forward a couple of mm and this will allow the cover to shut nicely. That should clear your tamper
