Now this is probly a dumb person question but I probly reach the mark..

The data zip and branding zip files supplied .Do you have to unzip them to go in your Main igo folder in Sd card ..Or does the unit (program Unzip the dat itself,,???

Or for that matter do all Zip files used have to be unzipped as described before use???

just replace your igo8 exe with this one....

What are you doing to me HOE?? all the maps .dem etc are for Israel, or hebrew...

I dont mind Homebrew But I dont know hebrew

also this is all thats in the "sys" text ....

benaus, all you need to do is replace your 'igo8.exe' with the one from this download. it works on pda or pna.

or for a new install, replace maps, dem etc with aussie files.......

HI ,

could somenoe tell me where to download everything to get this programme to work?

It sounds like only the main exe is of interest with the link here, but I need to get the maps and other bits from elsewhere

Hi Hoe, i am new to this, i install IGO8 on to my Samsung Omnai but alway come up with error message " can't copy: \my storage\igo8\application.dat"
what is the issue here.

my map shows up as
Australia R14, sensis [080215]
and
Basemap 2007.07 Data source Nima VMapo [080117]

are these the latest maps available?

Probably a double post, but I can't get this to work with the Ausie Maps from

The Israel Maps work fine, the Ausie ones lock up on the first menu screen..
I have tried to remove the Israel maps also but it made no difference.

Trying to load on Mio Moov 300

Hi,

I have the files HOE mentions above, but when I try to copy the files (through ActiveSync-Vista and XP) it gets about half way, states there is an error that the device is disconnected and I cannot copy the files. If I look at all the files that were copied to the SD card, they start to disappear (like something is deleting them).

I have pulled out the SD card and put it into the PC, I can see the card and files, but trying to copy to it just gives a write error.

If I try and copy anything other than the iGO8 files, not a problem at all.

I have also tried copying the files to a directory not called iGO8 and it works fine, until I rename the directory back to iGO8 and the same issue occurs, where the files start to delete.

Any ideas? As mentioned, this only occurs with iGO8 and nothing else..

hi

i am upgrading from tomtom 7. I have got the australian maps and poi etc and installed ok i now have it simulating a route to my local airport (brisbane). the simulate is on slow , all i hear is a ding no turnleft on blah blah.st or even turn left in 100meters?

please advise? nice upload by the way!

Hi Guys

Got problem sorted ( just reinstalled so I don't know what the actual problem was)

Next problem. Geocoding errors. I have a tytn II and i have labled all my contact and it doesn't recongise all of them. I have double checked the names and address with Sensis.com.au.

The geocoding errors button is greyed out? Is there a way of updating the address? As i don't remeber all of them that were greyout?

After many frustrating hours, I found a tool to format the SD card as everything was failing with it (Least I could read it to get the data off).

Anyway, formatted the card, dropped iGO8 onto the card, and it installed without any issues..
