    yeah some dry sump engines can be a real PITA to do. I know Audi charge over $1000 for some of thier oil changes.
    still , on the Spewgatti , because they can , its probably a 2 hour job which they charge out at 27 hours.

    I rang Repco and asked for an oil filter.... she couldn't find it on her system
    If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!

    Only two weeks ago,,, I wanted from Supercheap a tail light globe for a WH statesman 2002 and the person their gave a 24 Volts one and argued with me this is the CORRECT ONE, Yes it was a SHE!!

    Funny enough the person who has the best sales track record running a Repco store in Melbourne Northern suburbs is a Female.

    She can quote part numbers off the top of her head and trains all the staff who are mainly men.

    I was almost on the floor one day when i saw a few Arabic men together at the Repco store walking up to the counter to be served and she was there, first thing they asked for was to be served by a male staff member.

    Was the funniest shit listening to her telling them who trained all the male staff there, the looks on their faces was something else.

    Back to the topic, Porkop nailed it, if you can afford the car you can afford the service.

    Reminds me of a saying we use to have in the GTR community that relates to this, "any one can afford to buy one, very few can afford to keep it."

    Another one that springs to mind is "if you can afford to buy one, make sure you have money for 2 to keep it".
