Meteorite Sightings
Been heaps of sightings in Victoria recently
One lot last week and another tonight
Anyone seen them?
From what i have read of peoples accounts, there must be more than one meteorite when the sightings are announced.
As people show images from Adelaide, Warrnambool, Melbourne and Gippsland at around the same time??

Edit: Oh & btw I saw a meteorite trail & explosion in the same patch of sky about 2 weeks ago; apparently no one else saw it or captured it on camera.

I'm fascinated by the claimed size of the meteorite... A wall nut or tennis ball they say.... Looks a lot bigger to me!
Hard to imagine something so small could create enough energy for the displays we are seeing
Looks more like the size of Clive Palmer and firery tale is the money he burnt up on the last election

That's not a meteorite.
The evidence for it not being a meteorite:
- This object is moving way to slow to be a meteorite.
- This object is also several objects (which have separated from the main object)
- This object is to faint for a meteorite.
- This object is also the wrong colour for a meteor trail.
- The meteor trail is too long and persistent (because it is moving relatively slowly)
If I knew the location, time and attitude of the photo I could probably tell you exactly which satellite or piece of space junk this was re-entering the atmosphere.

They are being reported as Meteorites in the news, i'm no expert... and they make a good show
Seems interesting people are reporting multiple sightings at around the same time....
Do you think its the same object or many different ones?
In this video at 2:40 seems say what i think/thought we were seeing
