Default Channel 10 & ABC have disappeared from Samsung smart TV

    Hi all,

As of yesterday, Channel 10 Sydney and ABC Sydney have disappeared from our Samsung smart TV. Other channels still work fine as far as we can tell but 10 and ABC just suddenly disappeared.

    How do we fix this?

    Thanks

Have you tried just doing a re scan?

Hopefully a mod can put this in the right section
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!

Yep, tried a rescan twice and those channels don't show up anymore.

    kingy75,

You have posted this in the satellite forum.

Are you receiving your FTA TV channels via satellite, or terrestrial transmitters?

If terrestrial, are the signals from the main Artarmon transmitters, of one of the UHF translators?

Gee sorry, wasn't aware which forum I should post in, apologies for inconveniencing you.

I have rectified the problem but thanks for your concern.

So I'm assuming it should be terrestrial? (I'll move the thread there)

What was the problem and what was your solution?

It's always good when an issue is solved to report on it, as it may help others at some time.

    Terrestrial seems correct, yes.

The problem was as I described in my initial post. Channel 10 and ABC (both Sydney) had disappeared from my TV. Eventually performing an auto re-tune of digital channels only brought them back, plus a number of other channels that weren't available on our TV previously.

OK... odd, as you previously said "Yep, tried a rescan twice and those channels don't show up anymore."

Good that you got it sorted though.
