Solution 862 arming with "0 + AWAY" - no longer works

Hi there

Up until recently, I used to be able to arm the alarm by pressing 0 + AWAY, but after deleting some user codes that were no longer needed, this function no longer works.

There are other ways to arm the alarm, but the family us used to this method, so I would prefer to reinstate it if possible.

I've looked through the user manual, but can't see anything about it, so wonder whether anyone else has any idea what I'd need to do.

Did you delete user code for user 8?
User 8 has a user code of 0 for this feature.

Yes, I did - that would explain it.

Not sure whether there's any way of reinstating that without resetting everything?

You could just program user 8 back in

Just resurrecting this old thread - wondering how exactly I'd go about reprogramming user 8 to rectify my issue? Appreciate any guidance.

Probably just google Solution 862 user manual.
The user manual will tell you how to add codes.
Select user 8 and add code of 0 and see if the feature works again.

Managed to get this to work - I think I misunderstood this the first time around, but got it to work with the following:

MASTER CODE + 1 + #AWAY + 8 (=User Number) + 0 (=Code) + #AWAY
