Hi there i am currently using a older version of titan v1.7
Does the newer versions 3.5 onward require registration and payment i do know that a paid licence is required for photo id which i dont need

Yes for Titan you do require a license. There is a cost.
BUT....
If you are not using it very often do the following

From the old install copy the Db folder. C:\program files\tecom\db or C:\program files (x86)\tecom\db
From interlogix download and install Titan
Use any 12 digits as the registration code. The old V1.7 code will not work as its not long enough.
Start Titan to make sure it runs. Shut down Titan.

Rename the db in the new install to whatever you want and copy into the above location with the Db from your old install.

IMPORTANT: before you start. From the start menu under Titan, run the "Titan Database Update" tool
Restart Titan and all of your old systems and logins etc are there.

Titan will expire after 30 days. But to reinstate it re install Titan over the top again. It take less than a minute and requires no input other than to click yes a few times. It picks up all of the info required from the registry.

Or spend $90.00 and buy a license.

As long as you have a copy of the original Db folder you have you info.
