    Default Influencer Economy

As a lot of us are too old or just don't subscribe to Facebook and Instagram....
This is a very eye opening show on the kind of money they are making!!!!

I must admit, i watch a few on YouTube

Some 4WD and Camping Influencers and even Supercar Blondie that has carved herself an insane career!!!

It depends on the influencer, and their follower numbers. A micro-influencer, which is someone that has 10,000 to 50,000 followers, is actually pretty valuable. They used to only pick up a couple hundred bucks, but today, they get a minimum of a few thousands dollars a post.

Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post! Especially if the content is on Youtube and the influencer is in the gaming industry.
I watched plenty go from starting a YouTube channel just as a hobby to show friends and family what they get up
To then reaching 10,000 subs, which soon jumps to 30,000 subs.... Now they regularly get sponsored products in the $1000's and maybe they even get payments.
One now has a Caltex Fuel card and has free fuel for all his trips
    Other get yachts and caravans

I've always wondered what the "Crazy Russian Hacker" gets, 12 Million subs now
He paid for his house (acreage) in 3 years! And that was ages ago now.

I prefer to call myself a bad influencer. Sometimes an enabler.

If your "influencer" doesn't have negative reports and use the words, "this is shit" and "I wouldn't buy it" at least 10% of the time, then they clearly have skin in the game, and it's probably yours. What percentage of product in the shops are crap? This should be reflected in any reporting that is being fed to you.

If the person advertising a product is female, good looking, smiles and has bit tits .... I'm not actually going to be influenced to buy it.
Though I might feel better after the fact.
Yes I am an agent of Satan, but my duties are largely ceremonial.

Most get paid directly from the products manafacturer...
    Or it's retail outlet....

It's essentially the same at TV advertising...
But cheaper and the target audience is more focused and direct....

As mentioned in the show I linked
An Ad at the Superbowl costs millions
Same add with a big name infulencer costs 10 times less and may have 5 times the audience...

Even little guys I watch that build LifePo4 batteries, if they provide a link to the parts they used, those parts or that stock is sold out in 1 day or less...
That sure is some advertising power!

Some get 5% of the sales if u use thier code in the check out....
Others have a deal done with the influencer prior to promotion....

And interesting as Trash speaks about negative influence, that is a big thing also....
As well as people chasing Likes or Dislikes on thier YT videos...
    Yep, they even chase dislikes...
I think it's all just about the audience engagement....
