Default 03 mitsi verada wiring diagram

My mate wanted to put an air horn on the verada so bought one off eBay, deplugged horn rigged air horn up, pressed horn & louder horn. Pressed it again, it stopped. Checked fuse, ok, swapped relay(same value) all good. So I'm looking for a wiring diagram to see what else is on the circuit. Google no help, manuals lab comes up empty. Any ideas please

There quite possibly more than 1 fuse box

When you press the horn button can you hear a clicking sound inside or in the engine bay.

is he sure the new horn actually works? did he use an extra relay to drive the new horn?

on the Verada the factory horn is also driven by the ETACs module , it doubles as the car alarm horn.

got to be careful here because on some cars the horn gets its earth from the pissy contacts inside the airbag. any excess current draw will stuff the airbag as well.

Shittttt the extra relay wasn't used. I just tapped the horn plug to jump it across to the new horn. The new horn did work.

yes it would , but the horn contacts are stuck by foil to the outside of the airbag , and a separate circuit , therefore if those contacts fail you need to replace the bag.
also dont forget that the clock spring carries all the current to the horn in some cars so dont do anything to bugger that.
