Which NBN for overseas live channel streaming.
When doing the Speedtest.net I notice big difference between Australian speed test servers to overseas site.
Very disappointed with Vodafone NBN. You get the advertised speed OK but when you select an overseas test site the download speed can be as low as 2MB which causes a lot of buffering when watching a European or Middle East live TV channels and if it’s in HD forget it.
I have complained to Vodafone but they keep on reverting back to the speed which is obtained from Vodafone Hutchinson’s Australian speed test server .
My old 12 MB Telstra ADSL was still getting 8 to 10mb from overseas test site which was good enough …
Can anybody suggest an ISP which has good overseas bandwidth, static IP and doesn’t cost the earth ?

Vodafone NBN useless for overseas streaming.. Now the fight is on getting out of the construct. below extract letter to Vodafone.
" not getting 23mbps from any overseas test site. Your terms and conditions do not exclude overseas sites hence we are not getting the service and speed paid for... For your information my 4G cell phone which is also with Vodafone is getting up to 12 Mbps from the same overseas sites. Further more when we were with Telstra on ADSL we were also getting satisfactory speed.. Our site is less then 50 meter from the Fibber Node. "

My telstra nbn works fine with iptv from Europe and USA.
Torrents usually around 7mbps via VPN.
