    Default INO Dig/Analoge advice

    Hi Peeps,

Well I am starting out in the 1250 MHz FM ATV path. Got my transmitter just need to sort out a receiver.

I have a number of Dig sat boxes left over from the good ole days.

    Dreambox 7020 & 500S's.

I need to know if these will default and receive an old analog signal or are they digital only.

If they are dig only, Ive played around with the transponder settings etc and am not sure how to set them to an IF of 1250 MHz in order to receive any Dig ATV transmission around.

All that being said, anyone got an old analog sat box they dont need?

    thanks for the look in.

The Dreambox receivers are Digital only DVB S

Someone here might have an old analogue receiver from the 90s, try posting on the buy and sell section to see if you get any replies.

I haven't costed it up for a while but have you thought as an option of going Digital ATV if it is cost effective.

    I have a 1250FM transmitter.....I simply can not justify any more $$$

Maybe when they have finished playing around with VK3RTV I will have to/consider the change to digital.

Until then I have to sneak the Codan 9350 on the Jeep without the missus noticing!
