I got up to game 13,360 and then installed Linux so freecell has been given the boot.
I like to think that I am reasonably competent but this one has me well stumped. I do not have the 'dose number. On my machine there are 1,000,000 games!
So a word picture:

If Australia is a democracy why, then, is voting compulsory?

"Wearing leg irons is now not required."

I havent been stumped yet with freecell Pig headed attitude and never give up as they are all solveable
Thanks guiseppe, I deliberately did not go looking for it, as it is a great time waster.

Can you select which game you play? I was working through them all one by one.

Yes a particular game number can be input and selected.
Normally I am happy with random though.

I play the ubuntu version never give up hasnt let me down yet and its got hints as well
An old thread I know.
The never give-up attitude seems to eventually pay off - note that I have played hundreds of games since my original post - kicked the proverbial goal today and have the screen photo to prove it.

Good on you guiseppe, It's a few years since I've played freecell, can't recall if the issue was game numbers from windows not matching ubuntu or inability to select game numbers in ubuntu. Maybe I should look it up again.

There you go.

(a) Mostly presentation -- it's easier for folks to read and see (the image) in the single reply read, than to have to read, then click on a link, which opens another browser window, so they can see what the post is about =)
(b) This is all automated in linux running XFCE, so it's 1, 2, 3 easy....but long form...
You can use the 'Insert Image' widget, or do it manually...ie; in my post showing the image, that's ;
Note the .jpeg suffix on the image file name -- for it to work, you must link to an image (.jpeg .jpg .bmp .png etc etc..)
The link you provided.... ...is a pointer to the -album- that contains the image, not the image itself. If you click that link, and then right click -> view image, you'll get the actual image link.
That explain it for you?
