Get the professional/expert advice of one of the major suppliers of such equipment, e.g. IBM etc.
We are in the process of planning for a major workstation roll out across our organization covering all the states. Each person gets a laptop, USBC monitor, Standard monitor and keyboard / mouse. Based on all your experience and expertise, what would be possible risk factors that i should consider when planning this activity ?
Cheers !

What do you call "major"? Hundreds of machines, thousands, tens of thousands? What sort of industry? Do you need to worry about personally identifiable information being stored? Are you considering a well established brand with reasonable support (HP, Lenovo, Dell etc), or are you looking at Asus, Acer and that level machine? Will your organisation be doing the installations, or will it be outsourced?
Too many unknowns here. Tristen has a point: if you need to ask these sort of questions in an online forum, you're probably best off involving an organisation who do this sort of work all the time. It'll save money in the long run.

Ditto!
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
