Aaaah democracy. Beautiful one day, eroded the next.....
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

no surprise - Russia is a turdhole anyway , not worth going to. The people are starving and the corrupt few in govt rake in the $$$
This article provides better info:
I guess Putin is getting a bit tired and wants more time to spend all his money, while still pulling the big strings
The new PM is a tax shark who has a history of rotting out a lot of tax evasion.
Putin wants to provide welfare to support families to breed.
He has obviously identified the easiest way to grow the economy is to grow the population.

From those linked articles, it would appear that he is trying to do the best fro Russia. History will show the evidence of what he has achieved, or not.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Don't you sometime wish the same happens to Australian government?
In fact I never seen many governments doing anything for his people. I am not defending Putin's decision but people in Russia really got sick and tired coping with corruption and politicians which believe they can do whatever they like. In countries were corruption is sitting very deep in the system the dictatorship might be the only way to stop the erosion.
So goes the dictators con...time and time again.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
The same could be said of the monster that is the EU, bureaucracy gone insane in its lust for power and total control
then we have the U.S. of A..........plutocracy/kleptocracy @ its finest doing its best for the ppl's.........just ask nancy how much she gives a fu*k about the man (ohhh how un PC that term has become) in the street !!
Democracy ? Oh we've been spelling it wrong, we meant Democrazy.
Come on, we like Vlad as a dictator. He's a good looking guy and he does cool stuff and thinks or politicians and their constituents are idiots AND we know he is right.
He's also much scarier than those other "crazy" dictators like Fatty Kim and Ayatollah Salami whatever there name is that sounds the same as all the others.
Vlad's dangerous, nobody wants to piss him off and nobody is brave or stupid enough to shoot the bastard.
He's another Stalin and have the Russians known any better since the first, second and third Vlad, fvcked up the country.
Russia has a proud history of Vladamir's going crazy with power and scaring the bejesus out of anybody who gets close enough to stab them.
If you're in any doubt as to how Russian's select a leader, Watch the movie "The death of Stalin".
It's a dark comedy, but it's kind of very close to the truth.
On the other end of the scales, Vlad has read Shakespeare and he knows what happened to the first Tsar, Julius Caesar.
He lives in fear of this every day, so it's only fair that everybody else live in fear.
What he doesn't have is an exit strategy. He can't use the closet to escape to Narnia because it's full of skeletons.
He can't run, he can't hide, the only safe place for him is in power and he is not letting go of that for fear of his life.
Fidel Castro was no different. There is no retirement unless you already know your days are numbered.
Yes I am an agent of Satan, but my duties are largely ceremonial.
