Default Optus EPL 7 day EPG not working on Dreambox

I subscribe to the Optus EPL Chs on 12727v and have noticed that the EPG is now only 2 days ahead compared to a few weeks ago when it was a 7 day guide.

I am using a Dreambox DM8000 with a Vast CI Module.

No use contacting the Optus EPL call centre as they have no idea what I am talking about or what is going on. VAST don't want anything to do with it as it is run by a 3rd party who I have been unable to track down.

It might just be coincidental and I won't take the credit but I sent an email to VAST and a day later I now have a 7 day EPG on Optus Sports and VAST, who ever switched the switch thanks.

Sorry to waffle on about this issue but further investigation indicate this is not an Optus issue but a receiver issue, as I have been able to replicate the problem on specific receivers and it works fine on others.. I can not see a pattern though. Anyway I will move this thread to the appropriate group to hopefully continue the discussion.

No issues as long as you have an Optus Sports mobile account which is usually free if you have a Optus Mobile service, you just pay another $20pm for the sat package and they enable your VAST card. It's a bit hard to initially convince Optus that you don't want the streaming service but it is straight forward after that.

You can even purchase an Optus VAST box if you want for $250 or add it to,your existing VAST card.

The picture quality is all HD and a heap lot better then streaming.
