I noticed too that all their new plans are 28day based so that's not monthly but 28 days!!! How confusing will it be to remember your billing date? That also means they get another 4weeks per year out of your dollar wise!! very sneaky.

Telstra's prepaid mobile plans have been like that for many years, they send a reminder text 4 days before next payment is due.

...it's all a conspiracy to have the calendars changed from 12months a year, to 13months a year, each month containing 28.07days... and they'll call it the 'working year'...

At least with Telstra you can set up direct debit for a set day of each month (eg 1st of every month) and it will ignore the 28 days and give you a full 30/31 days, depending on how long the month is.

Been with telstra, vodaphone and optus and they all had 28 days far as I recall.
Been with Amasim probably coming up a year now and I have had no problems at all. Their coverage which I believe is Optus is better in places I go than telstra. Service was completely useless at my fathers place and here with Telstra but it's great now. That alone is a BIG Plus for me. Can take a call anywhere in the house now, don't have to run outside and sit on the front verandah.

Had no problems with Billing or service but I'm a low end user and just use it for calls and the odd bit of data rather than live my whole fking life with a phone never out my hand and rely on the thing to tell me when to breathe.

Speaking of phones, must charge it up. Went flat on Thursday.

Moose uses Optus too. I don't think there is a lot of difference between Optus and Telstra these days. Prob with some of the cheapy phone plans that use Telstra is that they only get to use some of their 4G network where as the optus resellers get the whole 4G or 4G plus network from what I gather.
