    Yeah, righto. Sounds perfectly reasonable.

What's your thinking on the sphericity of the earth?

Classic music promotes roots grows when hard rock has an opposite effect.
Similarly viruses mutate when placed near wi-fi routers when accessing certain websites which don't tell you all truth about mafia. I give up.

    Here....

Seems the new strain has got here...I can't read the article....

Here's an explanation of the new strain.......

The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

Read on another forum that in U.S.A over 5 days 70,000 people died. That works out to 14,000 people dead per day.

    Frightning events in the U.S.

This link may be of interest:

On some U.S forums I hang out on it is not uncommon to see members mention they know someone whom has either died or have come down with Covid.

Here we go, 1 case detected in Victoria acquired from NSW.

That thing cannot be stopped easily. Add on top quarantine system stuff ups and we are back to square one.

I was one click away booking Coffs Harbour and something diverted my hand to Mt Gambier instead. I feel blessed so far but feel sorry for you Johno and others. I can expect a lot of sad stories about holiday plans cancellations. The outbreak happened so close to this holiday season and got people off guard.
All because someone didn't follow procedures in quarantine hotel.

My wife is always explaining to me HOW spending my hard earned money is actually saving us money because there was a sale. LOL

I just asked her the simplest question about being caught off guard and I got that LOOK!!! I know the answer... WORK Harder.

Not just the English looks like it's rife in South Africa too.

This virus is awful but you know while I know there are a lot of innocent people who take all the precautions that are the victims of this thing. What makes the Corona Virus especially deadly is some people lack of self-discipline. I still hear the bars and clubs playing music in the evenings. Graduation parties of 3k plus ( kids say it's a sentimental thing they cannot give it up) yeah tell that to your elders when you make them sick. Also, I'm wondering what elders sacrificed or us when WW2 was going on.

And no it's not just kids, I think what people fail to understand here ( or don't care at all) is that you are responsible for your own health yes, but also for that of others. I'm not sure who said it but somebody put it perfectly by saying everybody needs to act as if they are infected.

This virus has shown us up for the greedy pigs that humans are.

No disrespect intended, but this would..IMHO... be an act of purest optimism ~ it will be months before anyone can think like this...ie; that the world has returned to 'normal' ; try again in 2022 =)

    At the earliest IMHO.

We are in a place that is both good and bad. We were spared the worst, but are now being f*cked over by these endless border closures that destroy any tourist business that starts up again.

These napoleonic premiers give me the sh!ts....turning state against state.

You are right - we don't know who is the number zero especially if there is a high chance the person left country.

I'm shocked by how many people I know are travelling within Australia for holidays like everything is back to normal. There was a tosser in today's local paper who was complaining bitterly, that he had to quarantine when he arrived back from Sydney from a non-essential family visit. Certainly wouldn't have occurred to me, to go travelling during a major global pandemic unless it was an unavoidable emergency, or I had no other choice because of work or something.

I do agree...I feel the same about these Aussies stranded overseas. How many of them left the country AFTER they were advised not to....

End of any queue for that lot.

got to love the border checkpoints.....15 min trip can take 1hr 45mins now. Apparently trucks have taken up to 5hrs to get throught the checkpoints at Albury Wodonga.
The freeway checkpoint is after the first exit into Vic, the Bandiana link exit, so there is another checkpoint now on the Bandiana link. The freeway checkpoint is at the first Wodonga exit. What Einstein thought of that? Why not position it before the Bandiana link exit??
If you come down the Lincoln causeway from Albury there is another checkpoint and it bloody well goes into one lane WTF??? At least in the end with the NSW checkpoint we had 3 lanes heading the other way. I often go home via the Bandiana link so you get to go through 2 checkpoints when I come home via the Causeway. Just can't understand the fwy checkpoint isn't before the Bandiana link exit???? What a waste of everyone's time and also police resources.
We had the army for the NSW checkpoints but Vic aren't getting the support. So now SES, CFA volunteers are helping.
Glad I don't have a business......I'd be pulling my hair out!!!

cruising along here as normal in kalgoorlie, think ill go to the pub this arvo for a few beers and a feed.....

the usa has a huge and pretty unhealthy aged population. we would never see those sorts of numbers here.
covid is just giving them a shove over the edge, attributing all their deaths to covid is incorrect in my opinion.

at some stage we are going to have to go back to normal and let it run its course, its not going to go away.
probably once a vaccine is distributed.

i just want to go to jalan p.ramlee
