Been saying for weeks the official Numbers don't add up to the panic and reaction in lockdowns and restrictions.
Some however want to believe everything they are told and Lambast anyone that does question the narrative government and media want to push.
The average death rate for China flu coincides with the average life expectancy in the country's I found Numbers for being Oz, USA, California, ( Virtualy a country on it's own!) Germany and Canada.
That means the majority of people dying from China Flu are dying right at their life expectancy anyway. While some die Younger of the china Pox, they do any other time as well.
Whole damn thing is being blown completely out of proportion and the numbers prove it.
I hope that people take notice of these stats wotnot!
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
As Victoria continues to excel at being patient zero, now it's turning to this;
...sigh... /me holds forehead with hands & shakes head

Meanwhile, back at the bat cave ;
HOWS ABOUT THE IMPORTANT FIGURES LIKE THE RECOVERED OR DONT THEY COUNT ? the ratio of lives lost to lives saved is the most significant figures number of tests has to many variables total cases per day to recovered per day is also a important stat new cases is crap because it totally relies on the test results and theres no mention of the permanent damage done to lungs thanks wotnot

Relax......
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

These are the numbers chosen to be reported by our government. Only crap numbers can come out of crap polies.
Today, listening to Dan I was amazed by another idea coming out from his mouth. Dan wants people with symptoms to get tested - this is a good idea and I support it.
The next second Dan suggested that if we see numbers dropping fast and the number of tests reducing at the same that would be something he didn't want to see .
Hey Dan, you probably want people to have symptoms, isn't it? Or maybe you meant something else?
I don't know what he had in mind. It sounds like he needs a holiday. I would be happy to see less numbers of new cases as well as less people feeling sick. Then just report found cases as they appear and if transmission rate drops below 1 (which it is the case now) - ease restrictions.
I believe the reduction we see today is still stage 3 results. Stage 4 will show up from next week.
Fair point -- 'recovered' is somewhat polemical. This is all being treated as a 'disaster' in effect, and in that context, 'recovered' is "being able to lead a life that individuals and communities value living, even if it is different from the life they were leading before the disaster event."
The essential problem with 'recovered', is that "Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment."
Due to that observation, any debilitating disability resultant of covid-19 infection, is more or less a prognosis of individual cases, and it'll probably be a while before any of those statistics see the light of day (the 'disaster' is still in process)
So here in Qld, the full table (current) looks like;

Roughly 5 months ago I suggested to a Italian friend who had lost his office job to start selling face masks, I gave him an outlet to purchase stock and I speak to him on a regular basis.
He now has turned over $100K in sales - Not bad eh.
He sells on eBay and I also setup a simple webpage for him to direct repeat customers so eBay won't keep charging fees.
Now, I've suggested to start marketing to big Companies for Bulk orders as masks will be a common thing for a very long time.
Let see if he can turnover 1/2 mill in 12 months. As I can't visit him (stage 4 restrictions) to have his wife sensational pasta/seafood dishes. /it's to die for.. he drove over and delivered it.. Mamma Mia Bellissimo.

The prices I see these masks being sold for is insane even in the larger chain stores.
Someone is sure as hell Cashing in Big time on these things.
Maybe the real money would not be in selling them but Manufacturing them especially here in Oz.

Been looking for months @ the local bunnings to buy basic P1 dust masks to use in the shed when I butcher perfectly fine wood, not a mask in the place and if I want to drive for two hours I can always ...............I thought there was a law against profiteering in a time of war..............ohhhh wait !!!
'kin bandits !
I had Bunnings in Mind. Saw some of the basic White masks there yesterday, 5 for $19.95. The local coles has them at the counter, the basic blue surgical type. 50 Masks for $45 or 49 they are. Saw some in another larger place I now forget, they had them at similar price to Bunnys.
I wanted to buy a proper respirator with the screw in cartridges and face covering and wear that I have to. Mrs wouldn't let me buy one. If anything comes here where you do, that IS what I'll be wearing.
Was telling mate and he said he bought a proper battery powered air filter supply setup with a mask that cover's ones whole face when the bushfires were on. He said that's what he'll be wearing if Push comes to shove. I said just make sure you wear the white disposable overalls at the same time, that was my idea to scare the bedwetters.
His mrs laughed and said oh, we have plenty of those already and the bootie things that go over your shoes!
I said let me know when you wear these out anywhere, I see a Viral YT vid in the making capturing all the reactions.
I'll bet when all this is over, in 2029, that you will be able to buy these things for $1 for 10 because they will be wanting to get rid of the things.
