GM 2000 Pioneer Amp
HI,
First of I appologise for asking a silly Question. The amp was making a slight altenator buz for a long time which progressed to loud ass buzz. Over the phone diag from a relative who is not contactable found i had 545vAC in alot of the device. He sugested I change 4 of the Capacitors. C67,68 38 and 39. I think 67,68 for the problen 38,39 bacause they are the same age.
The question is.....they are all 2200uf 35v 67,68 are 105 deg the others are 85deg. can I use 105deg for all or would that cause another potential problem?
sorry for a newb post.

It's fine to use 105C rated caps in place of 85C rated types.

Thanks wotnot. from what i could find out the temp rating is a max rating but wasn't sure if over rated would be ok. 4 X105c it will be.
I agree with wotnot.
Use the 105 degrees celsius types.

You can always change to a higher rating, but never lower.
The higher ratings caps may be a little physically larger and could be a tad more expensive.
