    Default NX-12 Comnav Compatibility

Hi, I'm looking to install a comnav module in an old NX-12 system. I am unsure of what year the panel was manufactured in however, so am unsure as to the compatibility of the comnav or whether I would need to buy a new system altogether. Is there a way to determine this, either by looking at the panel or otherwise? I also do not have access to the installer code so the system will need to be defaulted.

Thanks in advance for your help

There might be a date sticker on the main pcb board or a date code label. You will need to open up the main box to have a look.

Thanks secure, I took a look and saw these

The second one is a bit tricky but it looks like the first is a date? Looks like 3/7/00

Does that look right to you? And if so, would it be compatible with the Comnav?

    Thanks for your help

    Yeah I would say it's a 2000 year board.
AFAIK any board made before 2004 is not suitable with comnav.

Thanks for that, according to the hills page info it suggests any board "from 2000" should be compatible, but whether a 2000 board falls in that category or not, I'm not sure. What's the source for 2004 on?

Either way, thank you very much for your help

Hills Tech Support have told me 2003 is borderline depending on the chip version.
