Letter sent to woollies online customers:

An important update on toilet paper and other essential items

    Dear Hoe,

I'd like to update you on the shortages we're seeing in toilet paper and other essential items.
    image
As you may have read, or seen for yourself, these are unusual and challenging times. We know it can be frustrating when we don't have the products you need, or when delivery or Pick up windows are filled more than usual.
    image
We're working very closely with our suppliers to get products onto shelves as quickly as we can. The makers of Kleenex, Sorbent, Quilton and Woolworths own range of toilet paper have all increased their production to meet this very unusual demand.

For example, the makers of Kleenex are now manufacturing 24 hours, 7 days a week at their Millicent, SA factory, as are Sorbent in their NSW and Victorian facilities. And the makers of Quilton have tripled their normal production across their factories in Queensland, NSW and WA.
    image
It's worth noting that the vast majority of products aren't affected and most stores aren't seeing significant shortages. But to make sure everyone has access to essential items, we've introduced some common-sense limits to a few products. We've limited toilet paper to 4 packs per transaction and large packs of rice (2kg and over) to 1 per transaction. Where available, hand sanitiser is now at the Customer Service Desk and limited to 2 per transaction.

We're constantly monitoring the situation and will do our best to keep all products freely available to everyone. However, if we see new shortages, we may introduce other limits. We'll only do this if we think it's absolutely necessary and to help make sure all customers can access the products they need. We'll keep you updated in our stores and on our website as things change.
    image
Our team members are doing the very best they can, so please support them, and each other.
    image
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this together.

Yeah, got that myself this morning. An executive saying basically that "the morons are on the loose."

There are normally not that many Asians around in my area.
This makes me wonder if it's for local use or they are sending it to china... along with the baby formula?

The baby formula thing makes me wonder. If they are so enthusiastic for it, why the hell aren't the local manufacturers cashing in on it as an export market?
Surely milk production could be ramped up and there would be margin available to actually pay the dairy farmers a viable return for their product.

Maybe we could replace Wool, coal and other export lost incomes with baby formula?

Jokes aside, apparently in Vietnam, China and now Japan people are making face masks from the toilet paper due to the shortage of masks' supply.

Maybe you are on to something there. The million dollar question.

If most were Asians, could this be another case similar to baby-formula, where Asians are stockpiling toilet paper to send back to China?
The other just as equally delusional, arrogant and pathetic toilet paper hoarders were just following suite for fear of missing out.

I think they have been watching way too many Doomsday Preppers or Walking Dead shows on TV.

It now makes it hard for real people to purchase the necessities they actually need.

Nephew just came of for dinner ( second tonight, already eat at home) and was telling us how there was a fisticuffs at the local ALDI this evening when his mother and he were there shopping.
A Woman ( not asian) Had piled her trolley so High with TP she coupldn't see over the top of it and another women was incensed the shelves were empty and she couldn't get any.
2nd Woman took a Packet from the piled trolley and 1st woman tried to take it back and it was on. Some others Joined in giving the bog roll hoarder a lot of flack and all turned into a big screaming match after the slaps and shoving was quelled.

I thought we were far enough away from the city shitforbrains mentality but Clearly I was sadly mistaken. Could have been blow ins I suppose. I'll tell myself that rather than face reality. :0(

Society is going mental these days. Fk me if there ever was some idea food was going to get short for any reason. Asians would be filling trucks with stuff. Not that I have anything against asians but there is little question it would be exactly what they would do.
They would start it and there would be overnight anarchy!

I'll bet in a month or 2, TP will be on special in every supermarket when nothing happens and all these people are stocked to the eyeballs with it and sales plummet.

I guess this is what happens when morons use social media to get their "accurate" information and probably in a lot of instances, their education.
Never underestimate the stupidity of idiots.

While I was in woolies this evening there was a 10 year old asking his mum where is all the toilet paper and mum's response was there is none because of the idiots buying trolly loads for no reason.
At least there is some normal people out there.

Years ago I used to blame idiotic " Current affairs " shows for giving people a " Bogan" education.
That has been annihilated by social media.

I never cease to be stunned at how the SM Mentality has affected such a majority of people. Be easy to write them off all as being idiots, uneducated or of Low IQ but I know of some otherwise very cleaver and intelligent people that are completely swallowed up by it.
    Fair Dinkum stuns me.

I looked at Twitted for the first time a few months ago. I was gobsmacked. No other word for it. Talk about a parallel universe and reality. I am obviously highly ignorant because I had no idea things were THAT bad with the way they carry on.

The other day I was referred to Instagram by a client to show me something she wanted. Looking at her page it was clear to see she was one of the leftie dogooder morons I despise. Every 2nd addition some Meme and righteous but of leftie crap protesting just about everything.
I cancelled her appointment and directed her to find someone else.

Might be cutting myself short and maybe I should have taken her money but the fact is I don't need her money that much and I would go against my principals to work for and help anyone like her. I have enough regrets and conflicts in my head already. Loosing sleep over another one, which no question I would, isn't worth it.
