House? Hours? ...I'm surprised it didn't end up as 'horse' =)
Fixed..
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
Cool! I was thinking the Alice to Darwin run, but that would have been very slow. Across Con Us, Impressive. I wonder if this will likely prompt a re-make of the original movie? It would be worth seeing.

I'm very interested, in the land of litigation "Merica", how have they faired by owning up to the world record feat?
Outrageous Speeding, Speed Effect Articles, and i'm sure many other fines could be handed to them.

Didn't even know the canonball was a real thing!
That is an incredible effort and time though. I take it they did have to slow down at times which makes the average speed and time all the more impressive.
They certainly put a lot of thought and a good amount of organisation into it as well apparently.
You would be hard pressed to do that time in a light aircraft and couldn't unless you had Night endorsement.
Aaaaah, the Canonball....fond memories and many nights dreaming in younger days...started around 70 or 71 I believe.....
I actually have this very magazine in a box under the house....
