    Default Project cars 2

    Hi all

I am a bit confused and old

I haven't bought a game for about 20 years but saw how far they have come with sim racing very impressed I have a fair graphics machine I7 cpu 1060 gpu 16 mb ram so I thought lets give it a go.

After looking around i settled on project cars 2 for pc

    My questions are

I can only find stream key don't you get a cd/dvd any more ?

If I get a steam key can I play off line ?

Are there any ongoing cost if I get a steam key ?

can I play 2 players on 2 computers on my lan with no internet

sorry for the stupid questions but its a different gaming world now

Nope, you purchase the license via Steam and download/install, anytime, anywhere.

Yep, put your steam client into offline mode, off you go.

Nope, unless you get hooked and end up buying DLCs for the game (Downloadable extra content) <grin>...elsewise it's pay once, license to play for life of your steam account (as long as you're alive and use it basically =)

You would need 2 copies of the game, each one linked to a different steam account (and running on different computers obviously =). You would likely need to set up a dedicated server on one of the LAN machines (can be the same machine you're playing the game on), with both computers connecting to that for gameplay. It should work without internet if both steam clients are set in offline mode, but don't quote me on that -- I'm not sure what DRM they're using with this title.
