Default Disabling a Bosch Solution 16?

    Hi

I have a Solution 16 which triggers the alarm each time the power goes out. I don't use the alarm, is there a way to disable this? I've gone through the manual, but it only lists ways of putting it into 'disarmed' mode. I'm not sure that would survive the power outages, given the battery for this is ancient and no longer holding 12V.

I have the side off the alarm box, and allegedly you can disable the alarm by removing the battery and "plug pack", but I'm unsure which this is. Mine is wired up so wires are just coming out of the roof space and going into the green rail at the bottom. I'd rather not unplug all of these in case a future owner wants to use the thing as it would be a right mess.

    Any ideas?

Unplug the battery and disconnect power from plug pack. In your case sounds like the plug pack is connected to a power point in the roof.
As you look at the alarm board with the metal lid removed, on the bottom left hand side there is a 3 terminal plug on the board, this is the low voltage power.
So you can just pull this plug off the board (normally a blue or black colour) this will remove in coming power from the board. Refer to picture.

Thanks, I'll give that a go.

I had seen a plug going into a power point in the roofspace and wondered what that was all about.

Maybe just unplug it in roofspace then. Would be better option.
