    Default NBN Speed

I finally got connected to the NBN (HFC) and I'm happy with the speeds I'm getting.

My computer downstairs is connected to the modem upstairs with these powerline adapters and I'm blown away how much this adapters have improved. Done a speed test directly from modem and adapters made no difference.

I'm on HFC. I have a few wired Computers, couple wireless Laptops and many Tablets around the house including mobile phones all connected. Including Foxtel on the same cable. Never have problems.

I just set up a couple of these powerline adaptors in an older house, getting over a gigabit link speed from router to lg tv.
power points are on a separate circuit, same phase. very impressive.

lg tv wifi is shit (even on expensive oled models), these work much better.........

Just connected my draytek to my telstra fttn line, they must have done some updates.....

    Yes, sos/roc is active here....

I used the cli to manually enable dynamic SRA on the draytek.
After a reboot, a significant increase in sync speeds.

    For draytek modems:

The telnet command to enable SOS/ROC is:

    vdsl optn sra bi 4

Sys reboot ( to save settings )

New firmware to enable by default should be out soon.

Sos/roc doesn't increase sync in itself, but allows the connection to handle sudden noise spikes.
This enables the provider (nbn) to increase sync without reliability issues.
