    Default Switch/ router question..

hey guys, i have wired my house up with 1 to 2 (depending on room) cat6 cables going to each room.

but the bedrooms have only 1 cat 6 cable outlet..

am i able to plug in a 4 port switch or router in the bedrooms so i can use ethernet instead of wireless for a PC, TV and XBOX?
the cat 6 cables that are run to each room go to a 24port switch which is connected to my router for internet use.

i hope this is not confusing.

    thanks
