I think there a bit of DVB-S2X high symbol rate and multistream in the works. Might be something to have in a new box.
Hello peoples, with my UltraPlus 9200 looking dead, Just wondering what's out there in the way of receivers? I would like it to have DVBS2 and DVB-T with CI (cam) slot. What else do I need to look for these days as I've not been into blindscanning feeds for ages.
Cheers,
Leroy

There's 2 boxes that I've been looking at recently that might fit the bill.... Zgemma H9 Combo and Octagon SF8008 4K UHD E2 DVB-S2X & DVB-C/T2.
Check them out.

Octagon SF8008 looks a great receiver. Be interesting to see if the DVB SX receiver goes higher then 45000. Most mainstream receivers top out at 45000mbs. At this point in Aus there are only a couple of 16apsk services that utilise DVB SX multi stream. With the ABC/SBS services on D1 which needs 47300 and Ch9 on Int19 Ku using 26810. Nothing on C Band in our region.
The main priority for me now is finding a receiver that can decode mpeg 4.2.0.0 at a minimum. Ch7 uses this now on its D1 Feeds, Same with ABC Feeds on D2. Foxtel use mpeg 4.2.2.0 for the feeds on D1.

From reading the specs the tuner is able to read the signals with a symbol rate (SR) between 100 and 80000.

Also the octagon 1028P was the same as the ultraplus 9200....
