It should just push then pop open as long as the doors are unlocked as it's locked with the central locking.
Death smiles at everyone. Grumpy old men smile back.

Mate had the same thing with his VW van. Was one of the employees cars but he had it while he was on Holidays. Pulled in to a servo and was looking for it everywhere.
I happened to pull in behind him and hearing he couldn't find the thing anywhere, I just pulled the little tab on the flap and it opened.
Not sure if mate was happier he got it open or more embarrassed. :0)

Same with the Mercedes Benz, push in then it pops open as long as the doors are unlocked. Had me for about 10 minutes at first.. lol

The manuals is in the glovebox which you need a Key to open.. Go Figure. LOL

It’s a bit like my ild 1975 Torana. The “fuel flap” was the rear number plate. It was hinged and spring loaded - you just pulled the plate down and it revealed the fuel filler. It used to throw anyone who didn’t know the car.
