Default Amazon Prime audio no go

Hi all, I'm new to streaming. I have my first (free) month of amazon prime TV. Using a win7 version on my PC & a copy of Chrome browser I tried to cast my new free movie to our bedroom TV. Alas no audio when streaming. there is no problem with Utube. I asked my friend Google to help with no success so far. Is there an easy way to overcome this problem? Perhaps it's a security issue with Amazon Prime. I all seems to bit a bit far fetched when for a few $ I could rewatche the same movie later.
    Any enlightenment would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

Maybe try Google-Chrome settings and turn on the audio from there ?

Works fine on my TV, but I have set top box or computer hardwired to the TV anyway.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Is your TV compatible with the audio format?
Maybe try down mixing the audio to stereo.
