    Default Happy Chappie

I spent the day working on a) a trailer to take my bike if, for some reason I am unable to ride it and b) fitting a modified shifter and decent sounding exhaust to it. The Suzi Boulies for some stupid reason seem to think that pressing down on the back of the shifter is better than lifting the front to change up. It all works well until you take off at lights and suddenly, you've managed to hit the rear shift pedal as you put your foot on the boards (pegs) and shift up a gear, or, worse, hit neutral. Anyway I picked up another shifter from the wreckers and modified it so now it is just a conventional shifter. I also managed to get another exhaust which I was intending to modify to give me a throatier roar but the one I got was different to mine, although a genuine part and I did not have to perform any surgery on it and am happy with the sound, the outlet is 2" c/w 1" on my original. A very successful day! Now I'm sitting here drinking wine (didn't feel like beer) and bragging to you lot about it!
