Bosch Solutions 2000 External siren resistor
Hi I have the Bosch solutions 2000 kit with a slimline external siren/strobe part no. MCS-300.
Just a question about the J1 jumper pin type resistor on there.
Currently set on “nil”. Other available resistance options are 6k8, 3k3, 2k2 and 1k.
What is my best option here. I won’t be using the tamper switch on the siren due to mounting location.
If you can get up there, then you deserve to break in without alarm going off
Given no tamper, do I need to set any resistance?
I’m just running 4 core cable to siren/strobe.
Do I need to set resistance at all and if so how much?
Thanks.

If your not wiring the tamper switch don't need to worry about resistance.
