Actually, Californians are amongst the best educated in the country. Florida's well known as one of the dumbest...(just not as flammable a state!). This is probably the result of some entitled rich douchbag couple, frankly...

Saw this on the news today. My first thought was if this fire didn't happen now, would it have just been a matter of time or would have never happened?
My thoughts were if it didn't happen now, as in this year, maybe it would have happened in a year or whatever and been worse. Clearly there was a lot of fuel on the ground and I believe that if the area is so flammable, It was a matter of when rather than if.
Seems to me this could have been caused by any number of things, natural and otherwise.

As for the people that caused it..... I don't know.
Would also seem to me that these people were just like a bunch of couples I have come across in the last 12 Months that have been expecting and just doing the modern thing with this. I don't know what these Pyrotechnics are, haven't seen them so I thought I'd look them up before Commenting. I looked at a few ads on Fleabag and on google and I saw none that said they were a fire hazard, in fact a couple said they contained NO firework material and were safe for indoor or outdoor use.

I give room to the possibility the couple might not have seen or heard of these things and never imagined they could pose a fire danger even if they had. I Haven't seen them in the flesh but I Image they are something akin to a large party Popper. Some of them appear to be called exactly that, gender party poppers.
Could well be the things the Commifornians had were some Chinese shit that came in the back door that were loaded to the the hilt and the couple had no way of knowing what was in the things and they carried no warning.

Maybe the things had Fire hazard written all over them but I don't know and no one else does either.

I was only explaining to my father what a gender reveal was yesterday. Pointed out when I and my kids were born you kept it a seceret.
I couldn't answer what the reason for these Gender reveal parties was other than agree with his suggestion it was just another excuse for a piss up and someone else to sell some more useless crap.

On the face of it this might have been stupidity but I think there could also be a lot more to it.

I'll go put on my Helmet and jump in the Foxhole while I await the incoming flack.
