TSV file converter
Hi,I bought an Aldi 24" TV a couple of weeks ago for our kitchen. I'm happy with it.The sound was crappy so I added 2 computer speakers.
It can record live tv onto an usb stick which I did last night. Now I want to watch it on my google chrome netbook but it won't play'
It's a TSV file and only opens with text. I googled for the last hour but only find files for windows.
Any idea how to watch it anywhere except on the tv?
Any help is appreciated.

Depends on whether the files have been salted with DRM (so they only replay on the device they were recorded on) -- if not, try VLC ...it handles unencrypted .tsv files ; also changing file extension from .tsv to .ts is another clue

It is most likely mpeg4 encoded with H.264. You should be able to easily convert to .avi using something like Winavi. If you need something to test for free first try Prism video convertor from NCH.
