Default Networx NX-12 External Arming Tone

Hello, I have an NX-12 Alarm and after arming is complete it sounds a loud external tone. I am trying to turn this external tone off as I have had complaints about the noise sounding early in the morning, but I cannot locate anything in the user manual that provides a solution. Hoping someone knows the solution

    Hi
Check Feature 22, segment 1 and make sure 4 is off.

You will also need the installer code or a security tech to change programming.

Thank you, I only have the alarm code, which is not the installer code as far as I know. Does this mean I require an alarm technician to change this?

You could do a quick google search for the default one otherwise you'll need to get access to the installer menu and a tech will be needed as they may need do default and reprogram if they can't get in.

If you are trying to fix yourself. Just find an installer manual, and read up. Is quite a simple issue for you. No one here will or should walk you through it. It's like asking for free legal advice.....I pointed you in the right direction, but i cant represent you lolol. Just call a local alarm company, you would be surprised how easy and cheap it will be.

Thank you, I received conflicting code suggestions, so have contacted an alarm company for assistance.
