    Default ABC changing some Optus C1/Foxtel channels on 4 Oct

    ABC will combine their NSW, Victoria, SA, Queensland and NT channels into a single "national" channel from tomorrow. It will be in AEST/AEDT timezone and show a national 7PM news bulletin instead of a state one. ABC WA will remain as-is.

    Does that mean SA/NT are going to get their news half an hour ealier/later, depending upon DST?

    It does, but even worse is it won't be their news anymore. This new ABC "National" channel will show a dedicated national news bulletin produced live at 7pm AEDT from ABC Perth weeknights, with ABC NSW News on weekends.
