Default Sean Connery - passed away at 90 years.

Have just heard the sad news that Sean Connery ........James Bond......007 has passed away at 90 years.

James acted and was one of the best. He will be missed but always remembered.

    RIP Sean Connery.

    Vale Mr Connery.
Not into the Bond movies, but did love his work in "The Name of the Rose" and "The Man Who Would be King"
A filmography of 94 films, quite prolific.
    RIP.

I've merged the two threads on this. (David071 posted first)

    Sad news indeed Mr. Bond.

Another legendary Bond, Sir Roger Moore, passed away in 2017.

Thank you Sir Sean for your numerous roles.

    R.I.P.

Definitely one of the Movie Industry's top Royalty.
I like all the Bond Movies but Connery bought a class and distinction to the role none of the others matched. His other many roles made a movie worth watching for no other reason than he was in them. Many of his movies are amount my Favorites in the collection I have started a while back. Only watched Dr No. a few nights back.

I admire that he knew when to quit as well. Instead of working till he had nothing left, he retired to enjoy his many final years with his long term wife instead of working till he dropped.

Not much into celebs and actors but I do feel a sense of loss and sadness knowing he has gone.

Maybe, now that 007 is dead we can kill the franchise. The others were all wannabes after "Bond, James Bond", and I am no fan of the franchise but he was the only Bond, James Bond, that should ever have been.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
