    Default Dahua IP intercom issues

    Hey guys

Had an install yesterday with the 2 monitors and 1 gate station.

The gate station is the older square V2000a model. (Villa Style).

The monitors are the newer style with no buttons on the front (new firmware)

The room numbers are now 9901 format.

The gate station has 101 has room numbers - i can't seem the change it to 9901

Can i change the monitors to the old 101 format and just put-1 for extension.

The system working accept the crossed out gate station, if i click on the vto it comes up on monitor and i can open/close the gate.

I know the new SIP server has to be setup which i think i've done but for life of me if i push the call button it say "your call can't be connected".

Yes the network to the gate is fine and i have internet out there (cabled ).

    Ideas?

This will be last time i'll use it, only used it for the built in keypad function and cos it fit over the old existing location.

From now on i reckon aiphone is the go or might try the g2 hik vision.

After updating firmware on gate station semi works -still doesn't ring inside the house yet - have to be onsite with tech support open to sort out the rest.

After a few teething problems and FW updates, the last few Dahua intercoms have been great for me. It seems solid now, customers are happy with price and features. Going to try a HIK and see how it holds up.

Just got a Dahua IP intercom kit and setup on test bench.
    Worked great on default settings.
Then I changed their IP addresses, they don’t talk to each other anymore.
Managed to default the VTO via web browser.
VTH screen frozen, calibration on screen went rouge.
Suddenly they are able to talk to each other but VTH screen still bad.
Decided to return them to supplier.
What a waste of time and poor product.
Will never use Dahua intercom again.

Yeah I had the calibration issue. Can get into calibration by holding 2 buttons, which you only need to do after defaulting.

Went back other night and put on customers phone and all worked on DMSS no problems.

I spoke too soon as usual. Got one customer with two iPhones on 14.2. Cannot get them to ring when the phone is locked (only when locked). They get apple watch notification, and if they unlock phone it starts ringing. Updated to latest FW, and defaulted and setup. It's got me, I don't own a iPhone but everything to do with notifications is on as far as I can see. Using DMSS app as well. I really have to think it's a phone issue, but other customers with iPhones don't have this problem.

Make sure the time and date are correct in the intercom.
