    Default Recommend me a mouse

I want to get a fairly decent mouse. I'm not after a really fancy one with lots of buttons, I'd prefer one that's just got a left click, right click and mouse wheel without having 10 other buttons. I'd also prefer that it's cordless, AND not super expensive (under say $50) any ideas would be appreciated.

I would highly recommend M720 Triathlon mouse. If you shop around you can find one for around $50 or less. I have one for a year already with heavy daily use still on the first set of batteries. Manual says batteries should last up to 3 years .

I use a cheapie that I got from one of those "dollar shops", cost me about 10 bucks and I use it several hours a day. Have had it for quite a few years now and has never missed a beat. Takes 1 AA battery that lasts for at least a couple of months. (Current one has been going for nearly 3 months as I've been on the road for 2 of them and did not change it before I left.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Logitech M185/M325 -- they take a AA battery, have a good low-power mode when not being used, I get about 1 year out of a decent alkaline cell

i use the logitech M585 combo because you can use it on a second-third computer with extra usb
at the same time just with a button click the same as the M720 Triathlon mentioned above.

I use the Anker Vertical Ergonomic, one wired and one wireless. Personally I love it, and would never go back. However, some do find it hard to adapt and even hate them.

Am using a Logitech ? with all buttons and switches, starting to play up but have become so used to all the switches etc i could not go back to a simple mouse
What amazes me is the cost of these items $75 +/_

    Ha ha.

Yes, everybody uses a mouse and has found their favourites but my experience with Logitech has not been amongst them in the past.
In the past I always said that Microsoft make a good mouse, the only product from them that I do favour.
However both Microsoft and Logitech make their stuff in China.

I currently have a bunch of mice(mouses) from Rapoo that perform very well. Some had their original battery last over a year and they get heavy use.
I like that they have an on/off switch and have minimalist design.
And yes they are also made in China.

EDit: I should add why the on/of switch is important for me. I have computers that wake up from standby with mouse movement, so accidental mouse movement after sleep can be quite annoying but not if the switch is off.

    I used a Logitech M 185 with an on /of switch(which I never use) for years,
The battery lasts over 1 year. Very happy with it.
