    Default Fake Twitter photo

Well all hell has broken lose in Canberra over that fake photo of an Australian soldier appearing to behead an Afghan child. Some say this was an over reaction by Scott Morrison.

It was posted by China's foreign affairs spokesman, Zhao Lijian. I'm waiting for a retaliatory post by someone skilled at Photoshop with an image or film clip showing Zhao Lijian giving head to Xi Jinping. Now that would create an over reaction.

any outburst by Morrison , or any other politician , or the WTO , is just fake posturing in order to appease the masses. our Govt knows that China has us by the curlies and there is nothing they can do to stop it. This import tariff war is just a small show of strength by the Chinese and now they have dominated every market and copied every product there is they dont need us any more.

Whatever China wanted to achieve with the wine tariffs and that fake image(more are coming according to the 'artist') it has certainly backfired:

"stand against Xi Jinping's authoritarian bullying" and drink Australian wine.
"This isn't just an attack on Australia. It's an attack on free countries everywhere,"

I just hope our gov isn't so conservative and slow with red tape to change the direction our wine export. Needs to be done immediately.
We shouldn't oppose globalism, we should embrace it as it wants to help us.
    Nationalism only supports totalitarian leaders.
Also all our barley should go to Vietnam as they brew a lot of beer that ends up here.

Pretty much...we don't have much of a choice though......new picture emerges....

The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

I would like to suggest something that many here will likely disagree with but first read and think a bit about it.

Buy from small Chinese sellers on Ebay and Ali !

    The reason:
It is very important that we get a message out to the Chinese people that democratic countries are NOT their enemies as their regime claims.
The best way to prove that is to support their small business and when they performed well (item works and was delivered relatively quick, which I have often experienced lately) send a message(not just feedback list). A kind polite personal note of thanks, that you were pleased with their service and wish them all the best.

This kindness can go a very long way to break the evil that has been implanted in their heads by their totalitarian government.

Seems a sensible approach to me.
