Default single output LNB in place of universal?

Hi I have a satellite decoder running TitanNIt and the tuner options only have universal, cband and unicable and I want to go to a mates but they dont have a universal LNB fitted to their dish.

In my settings i have my universal lnb setup to LOF/L 09750, LOF/H 10600 and Threshold at 11600.

If I were to take my decoder to my mates house that does not have a universal LNB but has a 10.75 GHz. Frequency: 11.70–12.20 single oscillator LNB
Can I program in the LNB lo frequency into the high band of the universal lnb settings and set the threshold to 11700 so it would be forced to the upper band?

Or is my asumption incorect ?
