    Just a lowlife wanker.

I wonder what wrist slap he got for all the damage.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

And it’s worth every cent to keep this sort of scum from stealing, assaulting, raping and crashing into honest, hard working people. The mistake is to ever let them out.

There was a fatal crash here, where a lowlife who had just got out of gaol (his parole papers were found on the seat of the car) went through a red light at over 120km/h in the middle of the city. He t-boned another car, killing the driver. The criminal scumbag did a runner, but was easily identified (those parole papers helped). He had an extensive criminal record and an appalling history of bad driving... yet he had been let out on the streets yet again. I was acquainted with his victim - an honest, hardworking bloke who had a small business just up the road from where I work. He had a young family, who were left without a father and husband, yet our “justice” system is all about the rights of the criminal.

I can hear the defence barrister now. “Oh, but he had a troubled childhood... mental health disorders... yadda yadda”.

IMHO... a bullet is cheaper, quick, permanent...and would make potential perps think twice *before* doing it -- the way it is now, the prospect of gaol doesn't offer any deterrent

It was likely a write off after those speed bumps. The front upper shock mounts are very brittle and impossible to properly repair.

    Where were the police?

jts Newcastle , i wouldnt expect anything different in that shithole

where were the police you ask ? well , here in the bogan state of QLD the police are forced to terminate the pursuit the moment that the scum drive on the wrong side of the road and run a couple of red lights... so....the crims know this and intentionally drive like maniacs so that the police back off. dunno who came up with this stupid rule , i mean as if a crim is going to steal a car and then drive it lawfully !!!! unbelievable

I am the product of a drunk who decided that he could drive without regard for others on the road. This bloke takes it to another level. Should be charged with attempted murder. I do understand the reason for the cops terminating pursuit. The problem is, they are damned if they do, and damned if they don't. Could you imagine the stink that would occur if a cop car was involved in a pile up whilst chasing a perp? Most of these clowns who pull these stunts have no regard for human life, theirs or anyone else's. The Hitler solution might save a lot of money, but, it also means that the perp is "out of his misery". I'm more inclined to say lock him in a small room on bread and water for the rest of his natural life. Yes, we would have to feed and accommodate him, but that should be about it. Drop a few crusts of dried bread through a peep hole once a day and, perhaps turn on a tap once a day. That should be about it.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

He (the perp) just needs a little help in life, he had a bad childhood and his mother used to spank him (never knew his father) and the doctors said he had adhad or whatever the fad was at the time and the pills changed him and he is now out on bail and is in talks with a shyster errr I mean a respectable lawyer re suing main roads and the owner of the pos R8 because his back is rooted now due to the unsafe speed humps that dont have any warning signage far enough away that ppl have a chance to adequately slow down, also the shockies on the R8 are wayyyyy too firm which significantly contributed to his back injury

Hahaha, you never cease to be so farkin predictable... So you've lived there and know Newcastle intimately do you?

The reason they back off is that experience has shown that chasing them "in hot pursuit" usually ends with the crim having a prang and often injuring of killing some poor innocent person.

Don't the crims smash into people half the time anyway?

Dunno whether it's half the time, but when being pursued at high speed, they invariably keep going till they do prang. Better to back off even if they get away, than have them wipe out a family or whatever.

I’ve sometimes thought that a solution to car chases would be to have a helicopter that is capable of lifting a car, with a big electro-magnet dangling under it. Just pick the bastard up, then drop the car into a purpose made concrete box. When they’re hungry and thirsty, they’ll give up and be prepared to come out peacefully.

    Umm yeah well...

All I can say is.... Horseshit.. Sure there are a couple of rough and ready areas, like any town, but your description is a total exaggeration..

You seem to describe any place mentioned in any post as a "shithole". Maybe it's just an incompatibility problem, and not the places mentioned..
Better you stick to your own shithole eh...

Edit: saw in another post... Yeppoon? you are farking joking aren't you?
