Default DSC alarm and Smoke detector always open circuit

I have a DSC alarm panel and a System Sensor 2012/24AUS smoke detector.

    Have wired 12V power
Then the NC and C Relay connections back to my panel (together with resistor).

My panel keeps showing an open circuit for my smoke detectors.

I have one smoke that is daisy chained and have the same result.

I am using the DLS software to program.

    Pls assist.
    Thanks

What fault finding have you done?
Measure resistance on cable with multimeter?
Put resistor straight across zone input to confirm fault clears etc?

Agree... resistor across zone input in panel as well as across the end of line pair used for that zone..
Check zone programming ... maybe set as swap seal or similar
Check relay on detector with multimeter (make sure the detector is actually working)
