    Default Solution 862 installer code

    Hi all
I have a Bosch solution 862 and want to disable the mains power fail keypad alarm as every time we have a power cut the dogs go mental with the high pitch alarm every 2 minutes.
I don’t know then installer code, can this be done with the master code?
can I reset the installer code ?

    cheers

I'm no expert, but have been in a similar situation with a solution alarm that was installed in my house by the previous owner.

Try 1234 as the default installer code. If that works you can access other settings as per

which was the first manual that I found using google.

If the installer code is different and you can access the motherboard of the alarm, see page 42 about factory defaulting the alarm. I had to do that to my original system, so I could access it. The master coder will be reset to 2580 and installer coder to 1234 and you will need to setup all your zones again, so this can take some time to read the manual and do.

You can press the # key to silence the alarm.

Can't stop it apart from taping the # key once to acknowledge it until it has a reason to start beeping again
