You are perfectly correct, of course. The problem is that there are millions of dumb users out there who don't know how to use a browser or don't know anything about the internet, they just have a phone or an iPad with facebook on it and to them, that is the internet.

Companies who have a perfectly good website also have to have a facebook page, even though it is nowhere near as complete as their website, because if they don't millions of dumbos will never hear of them.

Is that true? I was under the impression the government came to an agreement and the relevant legislation was modified. Could be wrong of course.

Now that might be a good thing depending on the modifications, i dunno. I will admit I was looking forward to a brawl with facecrap which may, just may, have cured a few of the fb junkies. Certainly it undermines some international support the government had gained.

As usual, the opposition are sitting on the fence, and taking an each way stance.
